She has worked across yacht charter, brokerage, management and ownership, producing destination guides, market insights, owner resources and editorial features that help clients navigate every stage of the yachting journey.

With a background spanning luxury travel, publishing and digital marketing, Becs combines meticulous research with engaging storytelling to create content that informs, inspires and performs. Whether she’s developing global content strategies, interviewing industry professionals or showcasing the world’s most spectacular cruising destinations, her focus is always on making complex topics accessible while capturing the experiences that make yachting exceptional.

Why Yachting

After completing a postgraduate diploma in English Literature in London, Becs had a chance encounter with someone working in the yachting industry who suggested she could combine her love of writing with the sailing world she had grown up around. What began as an opportunity to write about sailboats quickly became a passion for an industry unlike any other.

Beyond the yachts themselves, she discovered a world of extraordinary destinations, remarkable craftsmanship and the people who bring every experience to life. Today, Becs combines her lifelong connection to sailing with a career creating content that inspires owners, charter guests and industry professionals to explore everything the world of luxury yachting has to offer.

DUNIA BARU - It holds a special place for Becs, having been one of the first yachts she had the opportunity to stay onboard at the beginning of her career in the superyacht industry. Inspired by traditional Indonesian phinisi sailing yachts, DUNIA BARU combines craftsmanship, character and luxury with a true sense of adventure. Having spent much of her own childhood sailing, Becs is particularly drawn to yachts that bring together two of her greatest passions: life under sail and the world of luxury yachting.

South Africa - A place that has become Becs’ home away from home. Having visited numerous times, including taking all three of her children on safaris, she loves the country's incredible diversity—from unforgettable wildlife encounters and dramatic coastlines to its vibrant food scene and warm hospitality. Whether it's spotting the Big Five in the bush, exploring the Cape Winelands or enjoying sunset views over the ocean, South Africa is the destination she returns to time and time again for its people, culture and unforgettable experiences.

Outside the Office

When she’s not creating content, Becs enjoys travelling with her family, hiking with her Ridgeback, practising yoga, cycling, and spending time with friends and family. A lifelong believer that the best education happens through experience, she’s passionate about exposing her three children to different cultures, wildlife and adventures whenever the opportunity arises.

Becs is also an avid cyclist and has twice climbed the iconic Mont Ventoux alongside the team at Compositeworks (now MB92), combining her love of endurance sport with the friendships she’s built within the superyacht industry. These days, with three young children, most rides are a little less alpine and a lot more likely to include a bike trailer in tow.
